Hello and welcome to the American Society of Plumbing Engineers San Diego Chapter website. My name is Scott Newton, your current San Diego chapter President. This page will be updated on a regular basis, so please bookmark it, and come back often. The objective for this website is to be a resource for chapter materials, such as newsletters, and also for general plumbing information, such as links to educational or product pages. As stated on the national ASPE.org homepage, "ASPE is dedicated to the advancement of the science of plumbing engineering, to the professional growth and advancement of its members and the health, welfare and safety of the public. The Society disseminates technical data and information, sponsors activities that facilitate interaction with fellow professionals, and, through research and education, expands the base of knowledge of the plumbing engineering industry. ASPE members are leaders in innovative plumbing design, effective materials and energy use, and the application of advanced techniques throughout the world." That being said, If you are involved in the plumbing industry in any way, ASPE can perhaps assist in advancing your career. So if you are not currently a member of ASPE, please see the membership section for all the great benefits included. Our local chapter established in 1970 has roughly 100 members. ASPE internationally however established in 1964 currently boosts 6,500 members across the globe. Join us, be a part of this ever growing society of plumbing professionals, and get the recognition you deserve.
